An American girl, Marina Shifrin quit her job at Taiwanese Animation Company by uploading a video of herself dancing Kanye West song, “Gone” video to YouTube. The viewer’s reached 4 million in just three days. Until today, there are 10 million viewers. Twitter users even clarified her as “New Hero”.
Twenty five years old, Ms Shifrin explained her reasons, “I have put my entire life into this job, but my boss only cares about quantity, how fast we write and how many views each video gets.” In the video, she danced in different places of her office, including toilet and recording studio. She claimed that the Taiwanese working conditions differed greatly from those she was used to in the US, having to deal with a constantly changing work schedule and no lunch breaks. Feeling her complaints were being cast aside by her bosses, she decided to make the video to grab their attention.
"I understood that it was a risk, but I never named the company or my boss and I mean, have you seen my dancing? How can anyone take that seriously," she told Huffington Post in America.
